Stelios Kiosses is a consultant psychotherapist who studied psychodynamic therapy and clinical supervision at the University of Oxford and has also previously trained in psychotherapy and experimental psychology. He is a member of both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the British Psychological Society. He is member of Corpus Christi College Oxford and a research collaborator with Professor Robin Murphy’s Computational Psychopathology Research Group based at the University of Oxford. Stelios is also a visiting senior research associate at Kings College London collaborating with the Neurodegeneration Imaging Group for the application of complex behavioural experiments in functional and molecular neuroimaging studies. Stelios is also a visiting lecturer at Goldsmiths College University of London teaching both on the BA Psycho Social Studies and MA Counselling at The Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies. Stelios considers himself a polymath and his interest spans from being had of psychology and researching insider thread and cyber attacks to being part of a world organisation in aesthetics and gynaecology teaching and trying doctors and health practitioners in identifying patients with psychological issues such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders.
Stelios has acted as a TV Psychologist and Presenter for Channel 4s Television (The Hoarder Next Door) and is currently involved with several other TV and Radio projects and as a theatre script consultant on mental health funded by the Welcome Trust and Mental Health Foundation.
Stelios is a Patron of the Princes School of Traditional Arts, one of HRH Prince of Wales core charities
