Mel Leach

Mel is the CEO and Founder of Flame Proof a world-class training and coaching company. Unlocking how people communicate effectively and authentically online and in-person.

Mel has worked with the worlds leading brands and small businesses, helping people to communicate, inspire, influence and drive results across geographies and languages.

She is a subject matter expert to businesses and academia.

Mel was Born in Bristol to Liverpool parents. Terry Hands, Artistic Director of the RSC and founder of the Liverpool Everyman, selected Mel to join the RSC, her first role being in the award-winning As You Like It. Which toured including at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End.

Mel subsidised her early career by waiting on tables and washing up. She still says that this where she really learned about people, specifically teamwork and the art of developing relationships. Particularly, how to appeal to people from all walks of life. The doorman to the boardroom.

She joined a subsidiary of WPP, Mel led global sales development teams into new markets and sectors, some of the relationships were award-winning!
